The association “New Arts Center” (CENU) was founded in 2008 by the internationally acclaimed pianists, composers, innovators, researchers, and professors Sonja Loncar and Andrija Pavlovic (LP Duo). Throughout its existence, CENU successfully produced various concerts and concert tours (Europe, US, Asia), released CDs of contemporary music, engaged in publishing with an emphasis on works by Serbian and international composers as well worked on audience development. Moreover, in collaboration with a group of engineers from the American company HTEC, CENU, together with its sister company DUALITY d.o.o., produced and developed the innovative musical instrument “DUALITY Portable Hybrid Piano System” conceived by LP Duo.
In addition to the aforementioned festival, CENU initiated and produced the projects “Quantum Music” (2015-2018) and “Beyond Quantum Music” (2018-2023) in partnership with institutions such as the Universities of Oxford, Singapore, Delft (Netherlands), Aarhus (Denmark), Ars Electronica Linz festival (Austria), TodaysArt festival The Hague (Netherlands) and the Musicological Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Belgrade (Serbia). The project received support twice from the EU program “Creative Europe” and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
Additionally, CENU has organized four editions of the Keyboard Days Belgrade festival, where it has hosted a large number of international and domestic artists in classical, modern and contemporary music.
